“Most fans think that drivers are “Hot Heads” when some things don’t go their way – The truth is their feet and their butts are boiling, I’ve been there done that. With KoolMat under my feet and in my seat, I never had anymore “blisters”. I know both my sons benefit from having KoolMat in their cars too.”

Hi Pat,
How are you doing? About a month ago over the Christmas holiday I installed the Koolmat Insulation in my C5 and I just love it. The sound has been deadened and I can finally put a sport jack in the back without it being ironed for me from the heat. I even have to be more careful with speed since the noise is so much less I find myself at very illegal speeds without even trying.
Best Regards
Kevin

Corvette side exhaust sheilds
Hi Pat,
These side pipes fit all Hooker sidepipes for Corvettes 68-82. There mounted with stainless steel bands clamps directly to the sidepipe. Once installed these are acompletely concealed so the shields have a very clean smooth look. The effectiveness of the shields is simply amazing. We did much of the testing at our shop on a 77 Vette with a will modified 468 big block. The side pipes used to get so hot you could actually burn your leg through your clothing. With the covers and their Hi-
temp Heatmaster shielding liner you can now drive the car HARD, pull into the parking lot put your hands directly on the shields and they are actually room temperature as if you just took them out of the box! Now I see why this insulation is used on spacecraft. They're light weight so shipping won't be a problem either. NO MORE BURNS! Great Product!

RV
owner who had starter restart problems
on the road and was solved by Koolmat
Starter Kit. #07030
Pat
Hill
Hi!
We
just had to send off a quick note of
thank you, thank you for advertising
your Koolmat insulation product in an
RV magazine. We bought one of those stubborn
older
Chevy’s that everyone warned
us about – that it wouldn’t
start once the starter got hot. We
put up with it for five months on the
road before we were finally able to
hook up with one of your distributors
(Arizona Street Rods in Phoenix).
We’d
been stranded at gas stations, propane
stations and scenic overlooks with
sorrowful
grins to all who were able to continue
merrily on their way, while we sat
waiting,
hoping for a sudden cold front to come
in cool us down enough to be able
to
restart again.
But
since installing that amazing little
blanket around our starter- we are free!!!
We’ve been able to stop for gas
and sightseeing without a shred of fear.
In fact, the day following installation,
we were trapped in an 8-mile/45 minute
traffic backup due to an accident and
we were able to turn off our rig and
serve lemonade from our “home” without
wondering if we were going to be the
cause of the next traffic jam!
We’ll
definitely pass the word to all we know,
but please continue to advertise your
product in the RV market (FMCA RV Magazine)-
it’s the final guarantee of the
freedom that all RVers are so avidly
seeking!
Sincerely,
Mark & Valerie

Joe and Barbara Spear Fuel Bowls Heat Problem/Solved
I was having a chronic problem with my 1955 MGTF 1500. After driving it for a while, especially in hot weather, when I came to a traffic light, stop sign or sitting in traffic for a very short time it would start to stall and I'd have to constantly give it gas with my toe on the brake and my heal on the gas pedal. Eventually, it would stall and then, Oh My..It wouldn't start. Also, when I stopped my car and tried to start it before the engine cooled down completely it was
extremely difficult and very frustrating. When I would finally get it started it would miss, buck and carry on and unless I drove it for a couple of hundred yards it never evened out. That was often dangerous because I'd have to get out in traffic to clear the fuel bowls with traffic bearing down on me at speeds of up to 55 or 60 mph. The problem is that the fuel bowls are very close to the engine and there is no shield to protect the engine heat from boiling the gas in the bowls. Since this is a show car I didn't want to make any modification to the engine bay (so that eliminated the Heatmaster exhaust shields that would be permanently mounted) or I would be ineligible for Antique Automobile Club of America awards.
I called and talked to Pat and asked what, if any suggestions she could make. After thoroughly discussing the problem, we decided to wrap Koolmat around the fuel bowls to keep them insulated. I cut the material to the height and diameter of the fuel bowls and held it in place with radiator hose clamps. I took it out for a real slow ride on a hot day and drove it through our neighborhood at parade speed. I was very pleasantly surprised. Absolutely no hesitating, no more misfiring, no more stalling out... It ran smoothly and continues to do so all the time. I can even take it to the store, buy some supplies and it starts immediately with no hesitation, misfiring or any of the other problems I had in the past. It took less than an hour to cut the pieces, maneuver them into place and tighten the screws on the radiator hoses.
Now, when I show it in competition events, I remove the clamps and Koolmat and I'm ready to show it in less than 20 minutes.
I brag about this to my friends as a great solution to heat problems in out antique Healeys and MGs ect. I'd be happy to talk about my experience with others and send pictures of how I attached the Koolmat to the fuel bowls for anyone interested.
Thanks for your time and helping me solve a very annoying and potentially dangerous problem..
Thanks so much for Koolmat Pat..

I have had the pleasure of working with Koolmat on two occasions this past year. In both case, they provided me with an excellant product which was perfectly suited for my needs. But what really impressed me was the customer service. Pat from Koolmat took the time to understand my requirements and make thoughtful suggestions backed by years of experience. I was particularly pleased with the custom HeatMaster heat shield they built for the catalytic converter on my autocross car. The entire process, from the first phone call to the finished product has exceeded my expectations. Thank you Koolmat...

Heatmaster Shield
The customer had an exhaust system in and he wanted it tucked in up underneath the bady which happened to be
Fiberglass, but when the exhaust temp rose after driving 15 mins the figerglass started to actually burn and had to be put out (thank god the car had an extinguisher) it was towed the rest of the way and we repaired all the burnt fiberglass. To properly correct this problem the only fix was your NASA panels. This made the car drivable and reliable to take anywhere. The temps couldn't even be felt in the cockpit!! Great product. Great turn around time.. Thanks for all you help.
